Pairing Your iBT39 

You need to set-up the device through the pairing process. It's when your Bluetooth-capable device paired to your iHome Bluetooth Speaker. Once it successfully pairs and recognized, you can now play your audio through it.

Step 1: Ensure to turn on your Bluetooth device. Click the "Discoverable" on other devices.

Step 2: Turn on the Power Button of your iBT39 by pressing it for 2 seconds. If it's the first time for power on, it will ask for auto-pairing mode. You will hear a beeping sound and see the Bluetooth light blinking while its attempt to pair. In your Bluetooth menu, the “iHome iBT39” should appear.

Step 3: Choose the iHome iBT39 on your device and start the pairing. If a password prompts, enter 1234. You’ll hear a beep sound once, and the Bluetooth light indicator will appear solid blue and stop blinking. There will be an indication prompted on your device. If not successfully paired in 3 minutes, the iBT39 will return to its default mode.

Playing the Audio

Pairing the iBT39 comes first before playing the audio. The device will attempt to auto-link when the unit is turned on and within the distance range of 33 feet. If for 15minutes, there's no audio signal, the device will automatically power off to save the battery life.

Step 1: Press the Power Button of the Bluetooth Device to Turn on the unit. The light indicator will glow solid blue when it's linked to a device detected in range. Once successful, you can listen to wireless audio streaming from your paired device.

Step 2: To play the audio from your device, press the Play or Pause button. Do the same if you want to pause and resume to play. It's always a solid blue indicator when the Bluetooth is active.

Step 3: For Track Playing, press the REV or FWD to go the current track's start and end. Press again if you want to repeat the previous or forward it to the next track. To navigate the tracks, you can use the menu and track the controls of your Bluetooth device.

The device must be operationally powered on and connected to a Bluetooth smartphone to receive a call.

Step 1: The playing music stops of muted when you receive a call. That is to hear the ring tone. Press the Answer Call button or the End Button if you want to ignore it.
